Needle Holders

Dental needle holders are used to hold the head of a needle when performing suture techniques to close and seal exposed tissue post-surgery. Dental surgery needle holders are absolutely necessary for achieving proper post-surgical outcomes and clean healing of the soft tissue. The most common needle holders are Mayo-Hegar needle holders, Kelly needle holders, Crile needle holders, Halsey needle holders, Mathieu needle holders, and Castroviejo needle holders. Within these dental needle holder types, there are 3 primary builds: scissor type, open palm grip type, and finger lock type.
